I grew up on a small farm in Germany, where I had the freedom to explore and stay active — a passion that has shaped me ever since. Staying active clears my mind and opens up new perspectives, which is also why I wanted to gain professional experience abroad.

I'm an engaged, curious person who loves learning — as a product designer, there's always something new to discover as technologies and user needs evolve.

Design and sport connect for me: both keep me moving, curious, and open to new challenges.

My studies in Germany taught me to value clarity, precision, and functionality — every element serving a purpose, with emotion carefully integrated rather than absent.

In Madrid, I discovered a more intuitive approach, where a feeling or personal connection can just as naturally spark a design.

To me, product design is a language across cultures — combining German clarity with Spanish expressiveness is something I want to keep exploring.

0. Gait Analysis

A functional prototype was used to record gait data and movement patterns from the target group — people with altered gait patterns due to neurological conditions or orthopedic injuries — supporting the feasibility and relevance of the concept.

1. Wearable

The wearable's LED matrices give the user real-time feedback on their analyzed gait. Simple light colors and signals convey this information — so if an irregular gait pattern is detected, the user is always aware of it.

2. Charging station

The charging station sits on the nightstand, its shape and tilt encouraging daily use. It charges the wearable inductively.

Stackability

The stackability of the products within the grid is an enormously important factor. The varying diameters of the products open up a new level through exciting stacking possibilities — both in terms of storage and presentation.

Materials

Within the matrix, various materials such as wood, borosilicate glass and porcelain were used. It's precisely the stackability of these materials that generates a new kind of tension.
